Success Stories

Over the span of eight years, VolunteerNG has been actively involved in fostering the development of teenagers. During this time, we have not only supported the education of over 50 children, spanning from Nursery to Secondary school, but have also provided crucial mentoring and peer group support. This guidance has empowered them to make more informed and impactful choices for both their present and future.

From our humble beginnings with just 10 children and two schools in 2014, VolunteerNG has expanded its reach significantly. We are proud to announce partnerships with nine schools, demonstrating our commitment to broadening our impact on teenage development.

In our dedication to promoting intellectual growth and civic responsibility among the youth, VolunteerNG has successfully organized three rounds of inter-school debates, involving a total of 31 schools from

Education District I in the Agege area of Lagos state. These events aim to cultivate critical thinking, enhance public speaking skills, and instill a sense of civic duty in the younger generation.

Taking a monumental step in 2023, VolunteerNG inaugurated its first community free library in Ota, Ogun state. Stocked with an impressive collection of 600 books, the library has already attracted over 200 students from both primary and secondary schools. Their active participation in reading activities within the library is a testament to the positive impact of this initiative.

As we continue to walk the talk, we remain steadfast in our mission to change the narrative of Africa—one child at a time. The establishment of the community library stands as a significant stride forward, symbolizing our confidence in making a lasting difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
